The Chandan Nagar police have announced that they have identified all the suspects involved in the crime and have already detained a minor in connection with the case. Senior Inspector Seema Dhakane confirmed that efforts are underway to apprehend the remaining individuals. This gruesome daylight murder in a public park has significantly amplified the fears of residents regarding the increasing boldness of criminals, particularly the youth. The incident is being widely cited as further evidence of an urgent need for enhanced police patrolling and stricter measures to curb violent crimes stemming from minor disputes and gang rivalries.

aru’s arrest follows that of prime accused Sheetal Kishanchand Tejwani, a builder and power-of-attorney (PoA) holder for the original ‘Mahar Watan’ landholders, who was arrested last week by the Pune City Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW). Tejwani is accused of securing PoAs from the original landholders and subsequently executing the sale deed despite multiple failed attempts to legally gain ownership rights, allegedly misleading authorities and the original titleholders. Both Tejwani and Taru, along with Amadea Enterprises partner Digvijay Singh Patil, have been named in two separate FIRs for charges including cheating, forgery, criminal conspiracy, and violation of the Maharashtra Stamp Act.
